St Albans Secondary College - Online is the school's Learning Management System. This is the latest version of the site that allows staff, students and parents rich interaction with school subjects and a variety of resources. Our Learning Management System can be used as:
A classroom information portal for students and parents where students progress in a course can be tracked
A utility assignment drop box, scheduler and collaboration centre for blended classrooms
An in-house social and communications network for for students and teachers where messages can be posted, on-line chat can take place and blogs created
A way to provide e-Learning courses in distance learning contexts
A way to provide e-Learning for professionsl development and staff collaboration
A way to make school-to-home connection using the Internet.
You will need to create an account for yourself before you can use this MOODLE. First, try to log in using your school's network account details. If this works then fill in the details including a valid Email address. If this does not work then create a new account, the username and password of which should be the same as your school logon details. Note that access to individual courses may be restricted by the teacher. New accounts can only be created from within the school's computer network.
This is an upgraded version of the school's MOODLE site. It started from the first day of semester 2. The old site will be available until the end end of July for teachers to transfer their class data to the new MOODLE.
